How it Works Solar Site Design’s new Solar Marketplace for commercial and industrial properties gives trusted Distributive Solar agents across the nation a place to request a solar quote for their commercial or industrial client. Solar contractors (Fulfillment Partners) who subscribe as a member of our Marketplace have exclusive access to these properties. So how does it work? 1. First, our solar agents talk with their commercial and industrial clients about solar. Then, they capture relevant project data while they are meeting with their client. They upload the project data using our free mobile app, or through their personal online dashboard at www.solarsitedesign.com. Our commercial solar analysts get to work on a Solar Working Model & drawing for the solar agent to get the conversation started with the customer. Once these working models are completed, the project is uploaded to our marketplace. 2. As a subscribing member of our Marketplace, fulfillment partners have an opportunity to view the highlights of what these project entail. Details are available to our subscribing members on how to gain full access to the project. 3. Let the collaboration begin! The fulfillment partners with full access to the project can work with the trusted solar agent to sell the project. With full access to the project, fulfillment partners receive: an initial working model complete with drawings, direct access to the trusted solar agent of the customer interested in solar, 12 months of the customer's utility bills, photos of the property including the meter and panoramic view of the property, and all files and communication about the project up to the point of project access. 4. Finally, our trusted solar agents work collaboratively with fulfillment partners to sell the project. Distributive Solar and Solar Site Design’s team of experts have over a decade of experience selling commercial and industrial solar projects. We know how challenging and time consuming it can be to close deals. We have learned that our industry will scale with the help of deep relationships from leaders in local markets across the country. Our goal is to drive down customer acquisition costs for fulfillment partners by plugging them into the highest qualified projects that come from these deep, local relationships. We ask that our fulfillment partners be mindful that our solar agents are tasked with ensuring the best value for their customer. They have spent many years building a trusted relationship with them.
